Our mild Greek yogurt is delicious, rich, and mellow. Not as tart as the original greek yogurt. You can also drain additional whey and make it as thick as you prefer. As authentic as you can get! Greek style yogurt is a yogurt that has been strained to remove most of its whey, resulting in a thicker consistency than unstrained yogurt, while preserving yogurt’s distinctive sour taste. Like many types of yogurt, strained yogurt is often made from milk that has been enriched by boiling off some of its water content, or by adding extra butterfat and powdered milk. CHILD APPROVED! Our child tester had to think on this one a moment, but ultimately decided this would be really nice in smoothies. Because she did not enjoy it plain as well, she gave this ONE THUMB UP!! You will receive at least 1 teaspoon of dried culture. This is a heat loving culture which needs consistent heat. The use of a yogurt maker or similar appliance is required.
